Slow Cooker Barbecue Chicken

1 can cream of tomato soup
3/4 c vinegar ( i just use white but whatever you have works)
1/4 c brown sugar
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dried basil
1 medium onion, chopped, if desired
6  4 oz pieces of boneless, skinless chicken breast

Combine all ingredients except chicken in a bowl.  Place chicken in a sprayed slow cooker.  Pour sauce mixture over top of chicken.  Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.  I recommend the low setting!

  1. Suggestion - add pineapple (fresh or canned) to think for some extra flavor. Also, we always use the left-over chicken to shred for nachos!
